v0.2.0

The first version documented on this page.

Clicking

  • Two target modes. Element (pick) locks onto one element you click on the page and keeps clicking its center, even if the layout shifts. If the element disappears, the clicker stops by itself. Cursor clicks wherever your pointer is, and waits until you move the pointer over the page before the first click.
  • Element picker. A blue outline follows the pointer so you can see what will be picked. Press Esc to cancel.
  • 50 ms floor. Set any interval from 50 ms (20 clicks per second). The default is 250 ms, and lower values are raised to 50 ms.
  • Left click only. Each click sends the pointer and mouse down, up, and click events to the element under the target point.

Control

  • Per-tab loops. Every tab runs its own loop with its own mode and interval. The popup’s Running tabs list shows each tab with its site, interval, and mode, and a Stop button for each one.
  • On-page running pill. While a tab is clicking, a small pill in the bottom-right corner shows the mode and interval and has its own Stop button.
  • Click pulse. A short ring appears at each click point, so you can see where clicks land.
  • Safe stops. Reloading, navigating, or closing the tab stops the loop. Start it again when the new page is ready.
  • Clear errors. On pages extensions cannot control, such as Chrome’s own pages, the Web Store, and PDFs, the popup explains why it cannot start. A Limitations list in the popup covers the rest.

Privacy and permissions

  • Three permissions: activeTab, scripting, and storage. The list of running tabs is kept in session storage and cleared when the browser closes.
  • Collects nothing. No account and no analytics. See the privacy policy.

Languages

  • Localized popup. The popup’s labels are translated into 48 languages.

Earlier versions are not documented here.
